Please sign our petition to support the complete construction of the Route 7 Expressway from Grist Mill Road in Norwalk to Route 84 in Danbury. The Committee for the Extension of Route 7 (CER7) is a non profit, non partisan organization comprised of residents of Wilton, Georgetown, Redding and Norwalk who are concerned with the ever increasing traffic problems in the Route 7 corridor. The petition signers represent citizens from all towns in the area. Governor Rowland has stated that the Route 7 Expressway will not be built, contradicting the advice of the Connecticut Department of Transportation, which states that it is the only long-term solution to the traffic needs of this area. Pressure needs to be put on the Governor to reverse this decision from all the towns in the Route 7 corridor. Click Here to read our petition form.
